‘Spike F—‘ poster slammed by local Brunswick resident

Tom Elliott

A controversial poster plastered on the side of an inner-suburban building is causing quite a stir.

It’s prominently displayed near a bus stop on Blythe Street near Lygon Street in Brunswick.

Questions have also been raised as to whether to event is sponsored by the City of Melbourne given the council’s logo is printed on the M-rated poster.

Local Brunswick resident Rob sent this photo in to 3AW Mornings, he wants to know why something like this isn’t illegal.

‘I know the hipsters do it to annoy us but this provocative language is unacceptable,’ he told 3AW Mornings.

‘Where are lines drawn these days?’
