St Kilda beach re-opened after reported shark sighting

Melbourne’s favourite tourist beach was closed for almost two hours after an unconfirmed shark sighting.

As temperatures soared, swimmers at St Kilda beach were told to leave the water about 11.30am.

A search of the area found no sign of a shark and swimmers were allowed back in the water.
