St Kilda midfielder pulls the plug on season 2017

David Armitage has pulled the plug on season 2017.

The St Kilda midfielder had only recently returned to the field after having surgery twice on his groin.

But the Saints confirmed on Tuesday he’d run out of time to play AFL this year and will focus on pre-season for season 2018.

He only played two senior games this season.
