St Kilda star Leigh Montagna ‘got tingles’ watching the Western Bulldogs

St Kilda veteran Leigh Montagna says he hopes his young teammates can draw inspiration from the Western Bulldogs next season.

The Saints beat the Bulldogs in round 18 before missing the finals on percentage.

Montagna told Sports Today the Dogs run from then on to the grand final showed anything was possible.

He said he’d loved watching the Bulldogs throughout the finals.

‘I’m like everyone else ? I’ve loved it,’ Montagna said on 3AW.

‘I got tingles last week when they beat GWS.

‘I’ve enjoyed watching their success.

‘It gives team likes us hope that if you’ve got a committed young group that are driven and hungry, and have a game-plan that can succeed, then anything is possible.

‘I’m hoping all our young boys are watching and can take something from this game into next season because it’s been brilliant to watch.’
