Health care workers at hospitals around the state have revealed they’re forced to work in terrible conditions, or without free tea and coffee.

Susan* says staff have been forced to work in mouldy conditions.

“We continually are asking for the air conditioners to be fixed, the engineering comes out, changes the filter, and it just goes back to the same cycle, two or three months later,” she told Jacqui Felgate.


The Northern, in a statement, says they will thoroughly investigate the matter.

“The safety and wellbeing of our staff and patients is our highest priority,” they said .
