State opposition slams Andrews government over code red ‘secrecy’

The shadow health minister has accused the Victorian government of trying to hide last night’s “code red” in the metropolitan Melbourne area.

The crisis protocol was in place for four hours from about 12.15am.

Georgie Crozier, Shadow Minister for Health, said the Andrews government needed to explain why the health system was so stretched.

“Why the secrecy? What is the government hiding?” she said.
