Steve Herbert resigns over dog chauffeur scandal

Steve Herbert has resigned.

It comes on the back of public pressure following revelations he used tax-payer funded cars to chauffeur his two dogs.

He issued a statement on Wednesday morning, saying he would not be contesting the next election.
