‘Stranded’: Wayne Gatt addresses Jacqui Felgate’s ‘concerning’ police tip

Secretary of the Victorian Police Association, Wayne Gatt, has addressed the “concerning” police tip Jacqui Felgate received earlier today.

The 3AW Drive host received information from a number of people in the police force in relation to the closure of Victoria Police wellness centres.

“It really concerns me,” Felgate said.

“Removing those effectively leaves us a bit stranded,” Gatt said on 3AW Drive.

“It is terribly important in policing that you look after people who are going to and seeing stuff that is unimaginable for the majority of people in the community, it’s critically important.”
