‘Strong leader’: Former Premier reacts to Daniel Andrews’ resignation

Former Victorian Premier, John Brumby, has reacted to Daniel Andrews’ announcement of resigning saying it’s not a great surprise.

“He’s been Victoria’s longest Premier and he was four years before that, opposition leader, so he’s had 13 years in the top job,” he told Jacqui Felgate.

He also says the pressures of being in the top job are “immense”.

“These pressures, they just weigh on you,” he said.
