Students left ‘high and dry’ as two school campuses announce closure

Two school campuses catering to year 11 and 12 students are set to close their doors, leaving students forced to find a new school for their final year of education.
Parents have been told The Sporting Academy, which provides VCAL programs and has a strong focus on AFL development, will close its Wangaratta and Essendon campuses at the end of the year.
The Rumour File was tipped off to the closures and Neil Mitchell has since spoken to a parent with a child at the school.
Marissa* told Neil Mitchell about 50 students have been “left high and dry”.
“We are absolutely devastated with this debacle. Our kids are displaced,” she said.
