Study reveals the number of young Australians without health insurance
A study has found more than half of Australians under the age of 35 don’t have private health insurance despite wanting it because it’s too expensive.
Chief executive officer of the Private Health Insurance Intermediaries Association, Christopher Zinn, says he was surprised about how many people wanted health insurance.
“And their engagement with it, and while few of them have it, those who do have extras,” he told Shane McInnes, filling for Tom Elliott.
