The company that launched the submersible missing near the Titanic wreck says all five people on board have died, after debris of the vessel was found underwater.

A tail cone is among the five pieces of debris found near the wreck of the Titanic.

Experts say the debris is consistent with a “catastrophic implosion” of the vessel.

Rear Admiral John Mauger says its unclear exactly when things went wrong, but they would likely have detected the sound of the implosion if it occurred during the search.
