Success? Failure? The North Richmond drug-injecting facility put under the microscope
The medical director of the controversial North Richmond supervised drug-injecting room has provided a detailed insight into how the trial is going.
There have been more than 322,000 visits to the facility since it opened in July, 2019.
There are concerns there could be more scenes like this in the CBD, if a second site is established in the city.
But Dr Nico Clark said that wouldn’t be the case.
“There are far fewer syringes on the streets of Richmond than there used to be,” he said.
