Support for turning vacant offices into apartments grows following new research

There has been new research into the viability of turning vacant office buildings into apartments.

Victorian executive director of the Property Council, Cath Evans, says there is potential to turn some buildings into apartments.

“The research we’ve conducted in recent times reveals it is commercially viable to undertake the transition, there are a number of factors to be considered which are really around planning controls and apartment standards,” she told Tom Elliott.
