Surgeon slams ‘irresponsible’ anti-vaccination logic

An orthopaedic surgeon has slammed the logic behind the anti-vaccination movement.
Dr John Cunningham told Tom Elliott the idea that vaccinations cause autism has been disproven.
‘There’s not too many things in medicine that we can categorically say that there is absolutely no evidence (of),’ he said.
‘There is no connection between vaccination and autism. Absolutely none.’
The anti-vaccination movement is reportedly planning a meet-up at the Melbourne Zoo, which Dr Cunningham doesn’t think is a good idea.
‘It’d be one of the least responsible things a parent of a child who’s unvaccinated could do.’
