Suspended member of religious group speaks out over ‘unrest’

The practice of being a Freemason has “gone by the wayside”, according to one currently suspended member.

Barry has recently been barred from the religious group, saying there’s unrest amongst its ranks.

“Freemasons has gone by the wayside in recent times,” Barry told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings.

“There’s a lot of unrest in the rank and file at the moment, but they’re too scared (to speak up).”

His comments come after it was revealed former state Liberal leader Matthew Guy was a member of Victoria’s Freemasons group.
