TAC chief says decision to not renew Geelong sponsorship deal was mutual

The TAC has rejected suggestions it’s fallen out with Geelong football club after it ended its sponsorship deal.

TAC chief Joe Calafiore says it was a mutual decision.

The call not to extend the deal was made after Cats captain Joel Selwood was caught speeding.

‘It’s actually been a terrific relationship with the Geelong Football Club, Mr Calafiore said on 3AW Mornings.

‘They’re committed to supporting road safety.’
