The Transport Accident Commission has revealed more than half of drivers are using their phones while driving.

Chief executive of the TAC, Tracey Slatter, says the figure is concerning.

“The Road Safety Monitoring report that we’ve released today has some very concerning data in it. What it demonstrates is that more than half of the drivers on the road are using their hand held mobile phones while driving,” she told Neil Mitchell.
