‘Take it off him!’: Malmsbury prison staff attacked with guitar — again

A Malmsbury Youth Detention Centre staff member was knocked unconscious after she was attacked by a guitar-wielding inmate last night.

Neil Mitchell understands the woman was hit from behind with the instrument.

She was taken to hospital.

Incredibly, 3AW Mornings understands it was the second time that inmate has attacked someone with a guitar in the past month.

“Someone take the bloody guitar away from him!” Neil Mitchell said.
