RUMOUR FILE: Video has emerged showing a thief stealing Royal Children’s Hospital appeal donation box.

Justin and Kate are calling it the The Reverse Good Friday Appeal.

The theft happened at the Beaufort newsagency on Sunday, about 6.30am during business hours.

The shop owner, Jim Cox, told 3AW Breakfast there was about $150 in the box.

Local police are investigating.
