Tarneit smash and grab caught on camera

A trio of thieves have been caught on CCTV, smashing in the door of a business in Melbourne’s west – making off with some unusual loot.

Three men broke into the Chemist Warehouse at the Tarneit Gardens Shopping Centre on Tarneit Road on Sunday January 21, about 6am.

In the vision, a silver Camry sedan with stolen plates can be seen reversing against the back door of the business.

Three masked men get out of the car and begin to smash the door with a crow bar, eventually managing to create a hole big enough for the men to climb through.

Inside, the trio stole various bottles of perfume.

One man was wearing a distinctive camouflage peaked hat and dark-coloured clothing, the second a covering on his head with red markings, track pants and a dark top and the third was wearing a grey top, peaked cap with a motif on the front and dark-coloured pants.
