Taxi driver bashed in Craigieburn race attack

Images have been released of a group of men suspected of stalking, taunting and bashing a taxi driver in a racially motivated attack in Craigieburn.

The CCTV images show about half a dozen men laughing and smiling

Police say two of them racially taunted and bashed a taxi driver at Bradworth Drive at 8pm on October 26

All the men later went to the taxi drivers home.

They verbally abused him, damaged his taxi and pursued before him cutting him off at a nearby intersection.

One of the men then attacked his vehicle with a machete.

The victim fled on foot.

Police say the incident was unprovoked and racially motivated.
