Taxi driver carjacked at knifepoint in Melbourne’s south-east

Three men are on the run after carjacking a taxi in Cranbourne East earlier this month.

Investigators have been told the driver picked up three men on Bamby Grove just before 5am on May 23.

The men, armed with a knife, demanded he get out of the car, and then drove away.

The 38-year-old driver was not physically injured and the car was later found dumped in Clyde.

No arrests have been made at this stage.
