An altercation between taxi drivers in Melbourne’s CBD has been caught on camera, the drivers seemingly arguing about NOT taking a passenger.

3AW Drive producer Brianna Travers witnessed the incident outside Southern Cross station about 6pm last night.

She told Tom Elliott the drivers were arguing about not taking a passenger to the airport.

“Walking down Spencer St, I saw four men in a group having a dispute,” Brianna said.

“It turns out the three drivers were fighting over this one passenger, not fighting over the fare they were trying to take from each other, they were trying to palm the fare off.

“It was a British driver just trying to get to the airport.”
