Team defence the key to Adelaide’s success, says Rory Sloane

A tightening at the back has been the key to Adelaide’s sterling form early in 2016.

Crows star Rory Sloane told Sports Today team defence has been the focus.

‘We’ve been able to kick scores for a long time now, but we’ve always let teams kick much bigger scores,’ Sloane said.

Sloane also said he is happy with the current cap on interchange rotations.

But he can see an upside to lowering the cap further: ‘The fewer rotations there are, the longer I get to spend out on the ground!’ he said.
