Tech expert slams ‘meaningless’ Optus compensation following major outage
Tech expert Trevor Long has slammed Optus’ “meaningless” compensation for customers after the company’s major outage on Wednesday.
More than 10 millions customers were affected, and Optus has since offered 200 gigabytes of free data as compensation, which Mr Long says has “no value”.
“It’s tokenism at its best,” Mr Long told Neil Mitchell.
