Teen killed, five injured in Thomastown smash

A teenager has died in a Thomastown smash in which five other people were injured.

Police are seeking witnesses to the crash on Dalton Road last night.

It’s believed a black Holden Astra sedan was travelling north along the day when it collided with a Pajero that was turning right into Spencer Street about 6.30pm.

A Thomastown man, 18, who was a passenger in the Astra died at the scene.

Three other occupants of the Astra were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two occupants of the Pajero were also taken to hospital for treatment.
