Teenage girl Chloe Scott starts petition to help dairy farmers

Chloe Scott is 16.

She grew up on a dairy farm at Boorcan, near Ballarat.

Her family farm is just one of thousands being devastated by big milk companies slashing the price at the farm gate.

But Chloe wasn’t going to stand by and do nothing.

She’s started a petition calling on Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce to stand up for farmers.

And she’s already got 76,000 people behind her.

‘I don’t think anybody expected this,’ she told Neil Mitchell.

‘It just kept growing.’
