Teenager arrested after police chase through Melbourne’s north

A teenager has been arrested in Melbourne’s north following an extended police chase in the early hours of Friday morning.

Police followed a stolen blue Hyundai SUV through the streets of Flemington and Fawkner, with the car reaching speeds of up to 150km/h.

The 17-year-old passenger in the vehicle then fled on foot and hid in bushes, before being arrested.

Police say the driver is still on the run.
