Teenager stabbed during home invasion in Melbourne’s south-east

Police are investigating after a teenager was stabbed during a home invasion in Hallam overnight.

Unknown offenders broke into a home on Arcadia Avenue at about 10.45pm last night armed with poles and a machete, with a 16-year-old boy taken to hospital with stab wounds to his leg and back.

Six boys who were also inside the property at the time were not injured.

The offenders fled the scene and police believe the incident was targeted.
