Teens charged following Geelong pursuit

Two teenagers allegedly involved in a police pursuit from Geelong to Melbourne have been charged.

The pair was arrested yesterday after police were called to reports of a suspicious car in Swanston street around 8:15am on Saturday.

It’s alleged the car took off and crashed into a pole before the teens attempted to flee on foot.

A 19-year-old Geelong man has been charged with a string of offences, including carjacking and reckless conduct endangering life and was remanded in custody. 

A 15-year-old Geelong girl was charged with multiple theft of motor vehicle offences and will face the Children’s court at a later date.
