Two teens arrested after seven liquor stores robbed in two hours

A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old have been arrested after a spate of robberies in Melbourne’s east and south-east yesterday afternoon.

A total of seven liquor stores and a milk bar — from Box Hill to Mulgrave — were targeted between 5pm and 7pm on Thursday.

In some of the robberies, workers were threatened with a hammer.

At least five youths are believed to have been involved and they’re thought to have been travelling in a black Audi or Volkswagen.
