Teens scale gum trees at Alphington intersection to stop them being cut down

There’s a protest underway this morning to save two lemon-scented gums at Alphington.

Two 18-year-old boys are clambering up the trees to stop them getting chainsawed down.

Ross and John spoke with one of them this morning.
