Ten arrested after high-speed chase across Melbourne
Ten people have been arrested after a pursuit across Melbourne.
Two stolen vehicles — a Volkswagen Tiguan and BMW sedan — were first spotted on Punt Road in Richmond around 12.45am.
The cars travelled in convoy, splitting up in Pascoe Vale South at about 1am.
The Volkswagen hit speeds in excess of 170 kilometres an hour while being pursued by police.
The Volkswagen was dumped in Doveton and those inside were picked up by a Honda sedan.
Police followed the Honda to an address on Princes Highway in Hallam where the offenders entered a house.
