Tennis Australia has broken their silence on the storm surrounding comments made by Tony Jones, saying Novak Djokovic has accepted his apology and is “moving on”.

The Channel 9 sports presenter inflated tensions live on Friday night’s news bulletin, goading Djokovic fans and appearing to mock them.

He has since apologised, with Tennis Australia and the Australian Open hoping to put the furore behind them ahead of Tuesday night’s blockbuster showdown between Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz.
