Tennis Australia president Steve Healy grilled on 3AW’s Sports Today

Tennis Australia president Steve Healy has refused to reveal why three board members stunningly quit just days before the Australian Open.

Janet Young, Kerryn Pratt and Peter Armstrong all handed in their resignations last Friday, a move which has drawn plenty of interest ? given its timing.

Healy was grilled by Gerard Healy and Shane McInnes about the news on 3AW’s Sports Today, but remained tight-lipped when it came to the reasons why.

‘I’d like to (say), but I’m not going to be the one that breaks the confidentiality,’ he said.

‘If it’s out there, I’ll address it again.

‘I’m very sad about what has happened.’
