Terrifying attacks on homes by four men at Armadale and Templestowe
Frightening details have emerged about two terrifying home invasions across Melbourne in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A family bravely managed to hold a door closed while two men, armed with baseball bats, attempted to enter their Armadale home at 3.20am.
Two young children were inside at the time.
The victims managed to keep the offenders out by holding the door while they called police.
It’s believed another two men were waiting in a dark-coloured Audi SUV.
All four offenders are perceived to be of African appearance with dark hair.
In another incident, which police believe to be linked, four men then attended a Templestowe address around 4.45am.
Three men, armed with a pole, smashed a glass window and demanded the victim’s car keys.
After locating keys inside the victim’s purse, the men have stolen a white 2015 Porsche Macan wagon registered AES 827.
The men fled the area and were last seen heading north on Hodgson Street.
Police urge anybody with information regarding the aggravated burglaries, or who know the whereabouts of the stolen car, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
