Terrifying Fawkner road rage incident captured on camera

A terrifying road rage incident has been captured on camera in Melbourne’s north.

Sarah told 3AW’s Jacqui Felgate her partner was driving on Sydney Road in Fawkner at about 1.40pm when he saw a car cross a median strip and smash into a van. A second car then crossed the median strip.

“It basically crashed into the car that had already hit the work van and then two men hopped out and they were holding metal rods and he said basically they just started going to town on the car that had crossed the median strip first.”

Police say it’s alleged two cars collided before one of the vehicles attempted to flee and crashed into another car.

The drivers of the first two vehicles were involved in a physical altercation before one man allegedly damaged a car.

A man has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.
