The ‘absolutely massive’ Louvre robbery gripping the world

Thieves have broken into the world’s most visited museum in what’s being described as the “most brazen heist in recent memory”.

The alleged assailants entered the Louvre in Paris on Sunday morning, stealing jewels in a scene that has shocked the world.

Nine News Europe Correspondent Jessica Millward said global media had converged on Paris to cover the incident, which is being described as a scene out of a movie.

“This news is absolutely massive,” she told Ross and Russ.

“This is by far and away the most major and brazen heist in recent memory, there’s media from around the world (in Paris to cover the news).”
