The Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) are pushing to allow millions of workers the option to work from home instead of physically coming into work.

Tom Elliott said it would be a “massive change” to soon overtake the Australian workplace.

“Now I think this could be the end of office life as we know it,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

CEO of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Andrew McKellar, then weighed in on the ACTU’s push, claiming it might help public servants but it won’t help businesses.

“This is just the latest attempt by the ACTU to grab a bit more ground,” Mr McKellar told Tom Elliott.
