The advice Leigh Matthews has for Sam Mitchell following big loss

Leigh Matthews has directed some advice towards Hawthorn head coach Sam Mitchell following his side’s heavy Easter Monday loss to Geelong.

The Hawks were up by nine points at half-time but ended up losing by 82 points to the reigning premiers, with the four-time premiership coach giving some tips for Mitchell as the club goes through a rebuild phase.

The AFL great even made reference to his first year as a head coach at Collingwood, and the lessons he learnt from his early coaching years.
