Footy fans won’t need to have received a third COVID-19 vaccination shot to attend games this season, Gillon McLachlan has confirmed.

3AW Breakfast got in touch with the AFL’s chief executive after listener Ian asked Ross and Russel whether fans would need to have received a third shot to go to the footy.

McLachlan clarified the situation shortly after.

He told 3AW Breakfast that fans will need to have received two doses to get into games.
