The Age launches AI feature

The Age has introduced an artificial intelligence function to give readers the option of listening to an article rather than reading it.

The feature, which was introduced yesterday, is available on all standard and feature articles and is targeted at multitaskers, says the head of audience development at Nine newspapers Mex Cooper.

You might be reading something else on the train, but you can actually listen to the news at the same time, similar to the way people have consumed radio in the past,” she told Neil Mitchell.
