Could you live a life where you don’t own anything?

Well, the age of ownership is over according to finance guru Scott Haywood.

Speaking on 3AW Drive, Haywood said today’s younger generation no longer have the financial patience to save, or to commit to buying a house or car.

‘They’re impatient, they aren’t disciplined savers, they are impulsive.’

Haywood said the concept of sharing and sharing assets is now apart of today’s society, with popular companies such as Uber and Airbnb showing it’s potential.

‘The sharing economy is a shift in thinking…we’ve now seen emergences of sharing businesses, in the next decade that’s where the jobs and innovation are going to be.’
