The alarming rate of students dropping out of high school in Australia

One in five teenagers dropped out of high school before finishing year 12 last year in Australia, the lowest retention rate in a decade.

President of the Victorian Association of State Secondary Principals, Colin Axup, spoke to Ross and Russel on why this is occurring and why getting a qualification is so “important”.
