Analysis in the Herald Sun this morning has cast doubt on the future of both Premier Jacinta Allan and state opposition leader Jess Wilson’s seats ahead of next year’s state election.

The analysis was written by Shannon Deery, and senior lecturer in politics and international relations at Monash University, Dr Zareh Ghazarian, said it “isn’t out of the question”.

“I think it does highlight the fragility and the real brittleness that we have in Australian politics at the moment,” Dr Ghazarian said on 3AW Mornings.

“I’ve been saying on and off for a while now that there is a possibility at next year’s state election that Jacinta Allan could lose her seat of Bendigo East,” Tom Elliott said.
