Tom Elliott believes the majority of teenagers who skipped school to attend Thursday’s pro-Palestine demonstration “couldn’t find Gaza on a map”.

The protest, which began on the steps of Flinders Street Station, attracted hundreds of school-aged kids.

Tom said while protests are fine, children shouldn’t be missing school to attend them.

“I do have a problem with kids take the day off school,” he said on 3AW Drive.

“Most of them couldn’t find Gaza on a map.”
