Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has weighed in on the dispute between the ABC and mining magnate Gina Rinehart.

Rinehart has launched legal action against the broadcaster over a skit that went to air on the Race Around The World series.

And there’s an aspect of the dispute that Ford finds “stupid”.

“It seems crazy to me,” Ford said on 3AW Breakfast.

Tom Elliott also weighed in on the situation, labelling the comments made about Rinehart “distasteful”.
