The band Ross and Russel say MUST perform at the AFL grand final this year
Over the years, the Rumour File has been in incredible form when it comes to breaking the news on who will be performing at the AFL Grand Final.
This year, Ross and Russel have found a band they think MUST play in Perth this year.
So they’re starting a campaign to get them there.
The band is called The Albany Shantymen, and band member, Andrew Collins, says he’s up for it!
“We’d be a good fit and one of the reasons, I reckon, is accessibility for a football audience because football audiences like to sing the simple team theme songs,” he told Ross and Russel.
“Shanties are just like that – chuck in a few heave always and few haul always and it’s like a team song!
“We have stadium experience. We sung at the Dockers v Brissy game a few weeks ago.”
