The best of the best of Bruce Mansfield and Philip Brady

In December 1990, Bruce Mansfield received a call from 3AW management.

‘Come and host Remember When, Sundays from 6pm ’til midnight – Can you fill six hours?’.

Confidently, Bruce replied in the affirmative.  Then he rang Philip Brady. ‘Phil, can I borrow some old records, themes, serials etc?’

The reply from Phil was ‘I don’t lend them, but i will bring them in and do the show with you’

So on the eve of Christmas Eve, 1990, a new radio partnership was born.

We lost Bruce Mansfield in April of 2016.  

So now, as 2016 draws to a close, our station historian has lovingly compiled what he calls ‘The best of the best of Bruce and Phil.’
